This scent tells the story during Cultural Revolution in mainland China, its Civil War, as well as the Japanese War- through the eyes of heartbreaking tales of Peking Opera singers.

Peking Opera is rooted in my childhood as my grandfather was an avid fan, every time we visited him during the Chinese New Year you’d got to be prepared to listen to opera 24-7, or watching Billiards, Snooker on TV, we hardly talked as he passed away when I was so young, but one could always remember how he smelt like after returning from his smoking 🚬 rituals, mahjong with friends, feeding the turtles in the garden, or simply enjoying traditional Chinese nougat. What he smelt like was more than a memory. In this scent, I added this cherished memory.

Scent / 氣味

This is a perfume constructed around lychee, opium, resins, mysore and oud. This scent is very transcending as this literally takes you back to the days where you only read in history books, or old films. I enjoy this a lot, and one spray is pretty much enough, it lingers and carries you, please give this scent a bit more time on your skin, the drydown of the use of musk and oud is mesmerizing.
