Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us within 5 days of delivery if the item is defective, significantly damaged, or if you have received the wrong item. This allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please note that minor cosmetic imperfections resulting from international transportation, including packaging wear, label imperfections, minor evaporation, slight leakage, dents, scratches, or other transit-related conditions, are not considered defects and are therefore not eligible for refund, replacement, or exchange.

As a very small artisanal one-person studio, we kindly ask that all claims be submitted in good faith. We will always do our best to resolve any genuine issues fairly and professionally.


International Shipping & Refund Policy

Once an order has been shipped and a tracking number has been provided, it is no longer eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund. Due to the complex regulations and procedures involved in the international transportation of fragrance products classified as dangerous goods, parcels cannot be recalled, rerouted, or returned once dispatched.

Please note that all international shipments carry an inherent risk of delay, loss, damage, customs-related issues, or delivery complications. Customers are responsible for contacting their local courier, postal service, customs authority, or designated delivery provider using the tracking information provided. OM Parfum Fragrances will make every reasonable effort to assist and communicate with the carrier on the customer's behalf whenever possible; however, we cannot guarantee the outcome of any investigation, claim, or delivery process.

Due to factors beyond our control during international transit, including but not limited to cabin pressure changes during air transport, temperature fluctuations, weather conditions, customs inspections, and handling by shipping carriers, minor leakage, evaporation, label imperfections, packaging wear, dents, scratches, or other cosmetic changes may occasionally occur. Such circumstances do not affect the quality or intended use of the fragrance and shall not be considered defects eligible for refund, replacement, or exchange.

Once a parcel has been accepted by the shipping carrier, responsibility for transportation rests with the carrier and the recipient's local delivery network. In the unfortunate event that a parcel is lost, delayed, misdelivered, abandoned, returned, seized, destroyed, or otherwise becomes undeliverable after acceptance by the carrier, OM Parfum Fragrances cannot assume responsibility for compensation, replacement, or refund.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address, contact information, and any import requirements are accurate and complete. Orders returned due to incorrect information, failure to respond to customs or courier requests, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect a parcel within the designated timeframe are not eligible for refund.

However, at our sole discretion and as a gesture of goodwill, we may offer a discount toward a future purchase on a case-by-case basis.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with international shipping and agrees to the terms outlined above.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom-made products, special orders, personalized items, and limited-production items made specifically upon request. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a specific item, please contact us before making your purchase.

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on sale items.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order or return the item within 14 days for any reason and without providing a justification.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused, unopened, with all original packaging intact, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Returns must be shipped back to our studio using a carrier authorized to transport hazardous goods and must include a valid tracking number.

Order cancellations may only be requested before an order has been dispatched and a tracking number has been issued.

The 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to custom-made products, personalized items, or products that have been opened, used, tested, or altered after delivery.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise required by applicable law.


Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. If a refund cannot be issued to the original payment method, it may be sent via PayPal at our discretion.

Please note that your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor may require additional time to process and post the refund.
